About

Wanna-be Lawyer is simply the shorthand for my life story. I’ve wanted to be a lawyer since about 8th grade. I started this blog as I began studying for the LSAT, although it was nothing like it is today back then. At the time it was a way for me to stay in touch with the LSAT study group I had formed to get me through those painful months. Now it’s my outlet to share what I’ve been learning and experiencing as I go through the process of first applying, then getting into, and now (shortly) attending, law school. I’ll be attending Quinnipiac School of Law starting in August of 2012 but most of my experiences will be things shared by all law students.

Law school is a huge ordeal, and knowledge is certainly power in the battle to get into law school. I try to make my education of the legal community openly available to my peers and hope to keep this blog going as a guide even while I attend law school. Hopefully by then it’ll be a treasure trove for incoming 0Ls or 1Ls looking for advice on how to write their case outlines and the plethora of other things necessary to become a lawyer.

Stick around for the journey. Law school isn’t just three years (and at least another year with studying and applying) it’s a lifetime commitment to fulfill an ideal. Maybe we’ll all learn something along the way.

Although I should just read more of your blog to find this out myself, which I will eventually, which law school do you have your eye on?

  2. I’ve got a shortlist that consists of Quinnipiac, Elon, and Hofstra.

Hey! I came across your blog while searching for reviews on Quinnipiac. I just got accepted a few weeks ago and don’t know anything about the school. The only things I can find are about how much they charge and stupid reviews. Your review made me remember why I applied in the first place. Is there anyway I could pick your brain about it?
